Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password, and role (staff or camp).

Profile Information: For staff — bio, skills, certifications, availability, education, experience, photos, video, and resume. For camps — camp name, location, website, camp type, description, session dates, and hiring preferences.

Usage Information: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the CampGig platform

• Connect camp organizations with potential staff members

• Display staff profiles to camp users for recruiting purposes

• Send notifications about reviews, hires, and messages

• Communicate important updates about the Platform

• Ensure compliance with our Terms of Service

3. Information Sharing

Staff profile information (including name, bio, skills, photos, video, and availability) is visible to camp accounts on the Platform. Contact information (email, phone number) is only shared with camps that have an active paid subscription and have placed a candidate on review or initiated a hire. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database with row-level security) and encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Uploaded files (photos, videos, resumes) are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information stored on the Platform

• Update or correct your profile information at any time

• Delete your account and associated data

• Opt out of non-essential communications

• Request a copy of your data

6. Cookies

CampGig uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies may be used to understand how users interact with the Platform and to improve the user experience.

7. Children's Privacy

CampGig is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
