1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CampGig (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform. CampGig is operated by CampGig LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on CampGig. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Camp accounts must be created by authorized representatives of the camp organization.
3. Account Types
CampGig offers two account types: Staff (individuals seeking camp employment) and Camp (summer camp organizations seeking staff). Each account type has different features and responsibilities. You may not create an account under false pretenses or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
4. Staff Accounts & Response Policy
Staff members agree to respond to camp communications within 48 hours of receiving a review notification. Failure to respond in a timely manner may result in your profile being deprioritized in search results or hidden from camp browsing. Staff profiles must contain accurate information about your skills, experience, availability, and qualifications.
5. Camp Accounts & Subscriptions
Camps may browse candidate profiles for free. Additional features including direct messaging, the review system, and contact information access require a paid subscription. Subscription pricing and tiers are described on the Platform and may change with reasonable notice.
6. The Review System
When a camp places a candidate “on review,” the candidate must accept or decline the review. Upon acceptance, a 3-day review period begins during which the camp and candidate can communicate and determine fit. Camps may release a candidate from review at any time. The review system is designed to facilitate efficient hiring — please use it in good faith.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to CampGig (photos, videos, resumes, profile information). By uploading content, you grant CampGig a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the Platform for the purpose of connecting camps with staff. You may delete your content or account at any time.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use CampGig to: misrepresent your qualifications or identity; harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users; collect personal information of other users for purposes outside the Platform; create multiple accounts; or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
CampGig is a platform that facilitates connections between camps and potential staff. We do not guarantee employment, and we are not a party to any employment agreement between camps and staff. CampGig is not responsible for the conduct of any user, the accuracy of profile information, or the outcome of any hiring decision. All hiring decisions, background checks, and employment terms are the responsibility of the hiring camp.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of CampGig after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
